IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM DMCC REGARDING PARKING: ***************************************** QUOTE We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the implementation of parking barriers and the paid parking system across the development. We have now activated barriers in 16 clusters and are on track to complete the process by the end of the year. As previously notified, cluster C will be the next cluster to be activated on Sunday, 14 July 2013. We also wanted to inform you of a change to the present visitor parking rules, commencing Wednesday, 10 July 2013, 8:00am. These changes seek to address some concerns expressed by the community, while still maintaining the intended use of the concourse parking for visitors only. The change will first be implemented in Clusters W, V, X, D and F on Wednesday, 10 July and in all other Clusters early next week. · There will now be 3 hours of free parking available to visitors (instead of the earlier 2 hours); · Parking in the visitor parking areas located on the concourse level (between the towers) will be free from 11:00 pm to 8:00am; Please note: Any car that is not removed from these parking areas at 8am will be fined AED 200. As a reminder, the initial parameters of the concourse parking remain: · The concourse level parking areas are meant for visitors and not staff of the businesses located in the adjacent towers; · Cars must vacate the parking area for at least 3 hours before parking again; · Overstaying the 3 hour limit will result in an AED 200 fine. We trust the above arrangements will improve parking conditions at concourse level during Ramadan and until the paid visitor parking system is in place by the end of the year.
