**** IMPORTANT: We will NOT be open for business this weekend as planned. **** We are completely heartbroken to report that our pipes are frozen solid, and may have a break. This means our kitchen/bathroom has no running water and with the temperatures that are expected this week, the issue will likely persist and/or worsen. (Please send us positive unfrozen thoughts! Except to our freezers, we like them that way!) Since bakerys require things to be made fresh, and we do absolutely everything from scratch here, we have no way of making the food we had intended to sell this weekend without water. We also have no way of knowing if our pipes will need repairs until they thaw, so we cannot announce a new date just yet. Weve been working extremely hard the last two weeks (almost around the clock) so this setback is truly devastating. We appreciate so much all the support, the shares of our announcement yesterday, and everyones encouragement and excitement since we revealed our planned opening. We hope you will all feel the same way and share in our renewed excitement when we are finally able to open for real in the (hopefully) near future. Thanks to everyone for being an amazing community and for being here for us while we battle these problems. This is what we get for trying to open in a polar vortex.....haha!
