IMPORTANT: this morning, a dog we took in from a not so good circumstance was taken from her foster parentss home. We believe the family was not fully on board with the surrender. This is not the first time this has happened for the rescue....weve vetted dogs and theyre been taken back and people are angry about it. We need to stress this: we will no longer just take a dog because it looks rough...it is unsafe for our fosters and the dogs and tarnishes the work were trying to do. We can only take dogs that are SURRENDERED to the town and are unclaimed at the pound. Again, everyone is safe, but we cant let a close call like that happen again. Thank you.
