IN A BLINK OF AN EYE (PART 2) Booooooommmmmm The noise was deafening, the pain was unbearable! She was on the ground struggling to get up but she cant, in horror she watched as her flesh was left hanging, her flesh was burning and shredded in piece, she couldnt believe what she was seeing, her husband was able to open the door. it was too late, he could prevent what just happened, she was clinging to life and was rushed to the hospital. We all know the problems we face when you rush anyone to the hospital, thank God they were able to make payment and the doctors tried to stabilize her. They were able to stabilize her unfortunately she couldnt move or sit. She had to lay her back. The accident affected her bowels, she couldnt make any bowel movement, her baby was struggling, he wanted to come out, the doctors tried to stabilize him and the pain subsided. They were told that they couldnt perform a c-section because her stomach area was too affected for them to be operated on, she suffered from third degree burns, the baby was really struggling and his vital signals could not be monitored properly, so they had to induce the pregnancy. Another nightmare just started. She bargained with death, to take her rather than face the pain or loosing her child With no proper vital signs or scanned image of the baby, they never realized what they were in for. It was a breech pregnancy!!!!. he was coming out leg first!!! OMG!!!! she pushed, pushed and he came out up to his neck and got stuck, they tried their best but it was too late. The baby was stuck and he suffocated. He was finally pulled out but it really was too late, he died of asphyxiation, lack of oxygen. This was too sad. Their beloved son was gone. She only had her husband, faith and God to rely on. Her family and friends could only offer prayers, the church stood by her but no one could bring back her baby, her husband felt the pain of not being able to protect his family, the strength of their marriage was tested. No counseling, no psychological therapy just physiotherapy. Physically she got strong and was able to get back on her feet and move around but the pain was deeper. She lamented over what happened, what she could have done differently, why couldnt she protected her son,why didnt her maternal instinct kick in. she was loosing it, depression and suicidal thoughts were setting in. She needed help, she faced God in total submission, God pulled her out of this depression, healed her emotional pain. She renewed her faith and made a new covenant with God. God has replenished all that they have lost, lets keep this family in your prayers.
