IN ALL WHAT WE ARE LONGING FOR, OF WHOSE GLORY IS IT FOR? THE MESSAGES , THE ENCOURAGEMENT WE GIVE TO PEOPLE, THE SERVICES WE RENDERED, WHAT IS THE MOTIVE BEHIND THEM? OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST MADE IT KNOWN TO US WHAT WILL BE THE MISSION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKING IN US THROUGH US IS TO GLORIFY JESUS CHRIST AND NOT OF HIMSELF. John:16:13-14: But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce {and} declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].He will honor {and} glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you. THE SCRIPTURES ABOVE SHOWS THAT THE AIM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS TO GLORIFY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FINISHED WORK, WHICH LITERALLY MEANS GOD GRACE, AND NOT SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS, OF DEMAND OF KEEPING OF LAW. John:1:17 For while the Law was given through Moses, grace (unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ. HOLY SPIRIT WORKING THROUGH THE CHURCH WAS NOT MEANT TO PROMOTE RELIGION, DENOMINATION, OR SELF ACCLAIMED ORATORS, NOT PROMOTING THE WORLDLY WISDOM THAT SELF ACCLAIMED RUDIMENT TRADITION DOCTRINE OF MEN, BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS TO MAKE KNOWN TO THE SIANTS WHOM WE ARE IN CHRIST,OUR IDENTITY; John:1:12-13:But to as many as did receive {and} welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name--Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]1 John 5:4:For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. REFUSED TO BE MOVED BY PEOPLES OPINION. AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF OLD, SO ITS TODAY. THE SELF RIGHTEOUS RELIGIOUS PEOPLE COULD NOT COMPREHEND WHAT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS DOING IN HIS DAYS. THEY STILL HAVE THEIR DESCENDANT AROUND TODAY. THE PHARISEE OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS ACCUSED OF LEADING PEOPLE ASTRAY FOR TELLING THE TRUTH WITH THE GOSPEL OF GRACE. John:7:12 And there was among the mass of the people much whispered discussion {and} hot disputing about Him. Some were saying, He is good! [He is a good Man!] Others said, No, He misleads {and} deceives the people [gives them false ideas]! THE GOSPEL MEANS GOOD NEWS. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT CHRIST DID IT ALL. ONE THING THATS REQUIRED OF US IS FAITH IN THE FINISHED WORK OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. John:6:28 They then said, What are we to do, that we may [habitually] be working the works of God? [What are we to do to carry out what God requires?] Jesus replied, This is the work (service) that God asks of you: that you believe in the One Whom He has sent [that you cleave to, trust, rely on, and have faith in His Messenger]. 11:40 Jesus said to her, Did I not tell you {and} promise you that if you would believe {and} rely on Me, you would see the glory of God? ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD, IN THE DAYS OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST EARTHLY MINISTRY, THE PEOPLE AROUND HIM WERE MARVEL SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE WORDS OF GRACE THAT HE SPOKE AND NOT WORD OF CONDEMNATION. Luke:4:22 And all spoke well of Him and marveled at the words of grace that came forth from His mouth; and they said, Is not this Josephs Son? WHATS GRACE? ITS GODS UNMERITED UNEARNED UNDESERVED AND AN UNQUALIFIED FAVOUR OF GOD. BY GRACE OF GOD, WE ARE RIGHTEOUS HOLY AND REDEEMED BY THE UNMERITED FAVOUR OF GOD IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. 1Cor:1:30 But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin]. WHAT WE HAVE IN CHRIST, IS OUR INHERITANCE:Heb:9:15 [Christ, the Messiah] is therefore the Negotiator {and} Mediator of an [entirely] new agreement (testament, covenant), so that those who are called {and} offered it may receive the fulfillment of the promised everlasting inheritance--since a death has taken place which rescues {and} delivers {and} redeems them from the transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement. Acts:20:32 And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your rightful] inheritance among all Gods set-apart ones (those consecrated, purified, and transformed of soul). WHAT WE CAN DO THROUGH THE FINISHED WORK OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THAT IS OUR ABILITY IN CHRIST. Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. John 16:33:These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.Luke 10:19:Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. AS A TRUE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN, WE ARE NOT LED BY THE RUDIMENT TRADITION DOCTRINE OF MEN WISDOM, BUT BY THE WISDOM OF GOD PRODUCED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.1 Corinthians 2:1-7:And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of mans wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom , which God ordained before the world unto our glory. WHEN MEN ARE SPEAKING, OR TEACHING, WHO IS THEIR MESSAGES GLORIFYING, OR POINTING TO? IS THEIR MESSAGES POINTING YOU TO WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE FOR US BY HIS GRACE, OR IS THEIR MESSAGES POINTING YOU TO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO MOVE GOD, BY PUTING DEMAND UPON YOU INSTEAD OF THE SUPPLY OF GOD GRACE BESTOWED UPON US AS A BLESSED MAN.1 John 3:1:Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. CHRIST HAS FINISHED EVERYTHING AND WE ARE SEATED IN HIM IN HEAVENLY PLACES. Eph:2:4-7: But God--so rich is He in His mercy! Because of {and} in order to satisfy the great {and} wonderful {and} intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings {and} trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship {and} in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christs salvation). And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness {and} goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. THE ONLY WAY WE CAN RESPOND TO ALL WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE FOR US IS TO RECEIVE THEM ALL AND SAY THANK YOU. WORKING BY FAITH IS TO KEEP ON RESTING BELIEVING IN HIM. Heb:4:1-3: THEREFORE, WHILE the promise of entering His rest still holds {and} is offered [today], let us be afraid [to distrust it], lest any of you should think he has come too late {and} has come short of [reaching] it. For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it; {neither were they united in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe).}For we who have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on God) do enter that rest, in accordance with His declaration that those [who did not believe] should not enter when He said, As I swore in My wrath, They shall not enter My rest; and this He said although [His] works had been completed {and} prepared [and waiting for all who would believe] from the foundation of the world.
