IN FOCUS Result Previews Oil & Gas Development Company (OGDC): 1QFY15 EPS estimated at PKR7.6/sh The board meeting of OGDC is scheduled on Wednesday 29th October, 2014 to declare its 1QFY15 financial results. FY15 is likely to start on a subdued note as we expect 1QFY15 NPAT to decline by 2%YoY to PKR32.8bn (EPS: PKR7.6) in 1QFY15 compared to PKR33.6 (EPS: PKR7.8) in the corresponding period last year. The flattish trend in earnings can be attributed to the steep downward slide in oil prices (down 23%FYTD), offsetting the impact of higher production (up 4%YoY). The result announcement is also expected to accompany a dividend of PKR2.0/sh. Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL): 1QFY15 EPS estimated at PKR6.5/sh The board meeting of PPL is scheduled on Friday 24th October, 2014 to declare its 1QFY15 financial results. We expect NPAT of the company to post a nominal growth of 2% at PKR12.8bn (EPS: PKR6.5) in 1QFY15 compared to PKR12.5 (EPS: PKR6.3) in the corresponding period last year.
