IN HONOR OF THOSE WHO SERVED On November 11, 1918, the world at long last saw the end of bloody World War I. It was historically thought to be the war to end all wars. Of course, hindsight would later reveal that the second World War was to be waged within the next 20 years. Since that time, members of our Armed Forces have continued to place themselves in harms way in defense of this country. Members of our military have kept us safe and have helped advance democracy and freedom for fellow human beings all around the world. Veterans Day represents an opportunity for each of us to reach out to those who have served our country so honorably and faithfully to say, Thank you. Supplementing Memorial Day when we pay tribute to military members who were injured in battle and/or who gave the ultimate sacrifice, this is our chance to express our gratitude to those whose service we will always remember. From Leo, Nick, Steven, and I, Happy Veterans Day to all our FB Friends who have given so much of themselves in order that we may all be free!
