IN RESPONSE TO THE INCIDENT AT The Liquid Room (a Pub and a Club) ~please share~ Justin Thuesen had a very good conversation with one of the owners; who was extremely nice and accommodating. He has apologized for the incident in whole and shared his concern for Jonathan Clayton Simms. The owners and us have come to an agreement and were all moving forward together. The employees know equality is everyone and they accept the actions taken. Its amazing what can happen when people talk and not have to pay rich people in suits and ties to settle it for them. lol Justin never expected his post to go as viral as it did. With that said I feel the need to express that while some people in this world are homophobic, the owners of this establishment are NOT!! Lee Hauser is a big supporter of the LGBT community along with much of the staff there as well; especially our girl Anna. I have always had a great time going there before and will continue to support this business! The way Justin was raised taught him that everyone makes mistakes (thats human nature) and everyone deserves a second chance. While he still stands by what he said earlier in the week about the incident he also stands behind this post when he says that we need to give them a second chance. They took the necessary actions to rectify the issue and thats all that needed to be done. So I urge everyone reading this to not judge the bar as a homophobic location, but instead judge based on your experiences at the bar....
