IN THE SUPREME COURT TODAY mY SUMMERY-AmEkaH EdwArd GaDebeRg 1. Three persons have been summoned to appear before the SC on Tuesday JuLY 2, 2013 for making unguarded statements the court deems as contemptuous and instigative in nature. The three persons are Mr. Stephen Atubiga for contemptuous statements on 25th June this year on Asempa FM,) Mr. Kwaku Boaheng (who is also the Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress, is believed to have made similar comments on Angel FM and Boss FM in Kumasi) and Mr. Kenneth Agyei Kuranchie of the Daily Searchlight Newspaper. 2. Counsel for the petitioners cross-examined the Rep of KPMG (the referee contracted to do a physical count of the pink sheet evidence filed by the petitioners). 3. The cross-examination was mostly based on the credibility of the referee and the quality of the report submitted to the court. 4. Counsel for petitioners ended his cross-examination.
