IN THESE TIMES It is IN THESE TIMES of turmoil and uncertainty that we realize our own frailty and weakness. It is IN THESE TIMES that the children of the Most High God cry to their Father in Heaven who hears. It is IN THESE TIMES that we peer into the depth and reality of His promise. It is IN THESE TIMES that we abandon trying and resort to clinging to unseen faith. It is IN THESE TIMES that His promise is never surer. Those who hope not in the Living God have only darkness and despair IN THESE TIMES. Seize His promise IN THESE TIMES. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. (PSALM 23) For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
