IN THIS WORLD YOU HAVE TRIBULATION I heard my husband teach a series on the 15 Deadly Ds that each of us Christians should be ready to face. These Ds are outlined as: Discouragement, Despair, Doubt, Disbelief, Distraction, Double-mindedness, Dishonesty, Deceit, Deadness, Delay, Discord, Defamation and Disgrace. He stressed that each one of us in our lives at one time or the other would have to face up to these Ds prepared by the enemy. You may cry to God to take you out of these, but you just have to face up to some of them and steadfastly go through those moments. Surely, you will not remain in those holes too long, you just pass through them, feel their heat and come out victorious; not that you did anything to quench the fire, but you are made resilient and fortified by God. See what Jesus said in John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. God could have taken the trouble out of this world, but He allows it to stay for us!
