INDUSTRIAL ACTION UPDATE Yesterday evening the Governors met with representatives of the NASUWT and NUT teacher unions for further discussions about the schools’ pay policy. The meeting was positive and productive with the basis of a resolution being proposed subject to further discussions. All parties have agreed to meet again on Friday of this week by which time new wording will have been circulated and considered, with an intention to reach a final agreement at that meeting. The unions have informed the school that the industrial action planned for tomorrow will continue and as a result the arrangements for students will remain the same. School will be closed tomorrow for students in Years 8, 9 and 10. School will be open tomorrow for all students in Year 7. Year 11 students will be alerted by SMS message when lessons are available for them.
