INFO LOWONGAN PT Hatfield Indonesia is seeking 5 GIS Editors on contract basis, for 8 months from April 1 to November 30, 2014. Duties and Responsibilities: In this intermediate-level position, as an experienced GIS and Remote Sensing specialist, you must be able to: - Perform basic pre-processing of satellite images, including ortho-rectification, atmosphere correction, mosaicking, and visual enhancements to ensure deliverables display clearly and accurately and meet client requirements. - Perform various data-management duties, such as data storage, cleanup, and translations/conversions (i.e. MapInfo to ESRI, or CAD to GIS). - Produce high-quality cartographic map products for field teams, reports, and presentations using ESRI’s suite of products, following Hatfield and client standards. - Integrate various vector and raster data sets from multiple sources for inclusion in map products and analysis. - Communicate clearly with non-technical environmental specialists regarding map and remote sensing data analysis requirements. Qualifications and Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in the use and operation of ArcGIS for Desktop 10.1 and extensions such as Spatial and 3D Analyst. - At least one year experience in the effective use and operation of remote-sensing software, such as PCI Geomatica, including various extensions. - Experience in spatial data acquisition and manipulation, and good knowledge of GIS standards, projections and coordinate systems. - Demonstrated skills in the processing of a range of commercial and freely available optical satellite data. - Excellent communication skills (i.e., verbal and written). - General computer skills (MS Office suite, etc.).
