Box 2261 – Little Rock, Arkansas ArkansasHighways Telephone (501) 569-2227 Twitter: @AHTD Contact: NR 14-245 Randy Ort/Jeff Whatley September 2, 2014 BRIDGE INSPECTION REDUCES TRAFFIC TO ONE LANE ON HIGHWAY 70 AT THE PRAIRIE/MONROE COUNTY LINE LITTLE ROCK (9-2) – A routine bridge inspection will reduce traffic to one lane on Highway 70 at the Prairie and Monroe county line, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials. Crews will be inspecting the Cache River Bridge. The work will reduce traffic to one lane on the bridge, located east of DeValls Bluff, near Biscoe. The lane closure will be Thursday, September 4th, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using flaggers, barrels and warning signs.
