INFORMATION SPECIALIST (2 POSTS) (Reference: S8/3/2013/396) SALARY : R252 144 per annum (Level 9) CENTRE : DIRECTORATE: NARYSEC SUPPORT SERVICES: PRETORIA REQUIREMENTS : *A Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Communications or an equivalent qualification. *Computer literacy. *3-5 years relevant experience in a communication environment, including marketing management and communication, marketing research and product management, relationship marketing and corporate governance. *Knowledge and experience in brand design and management. *Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GroupWise, etc). *At least 2 year supervisory experience. DUTIES : *Manage continuous communication with NARYSEC youth using all media formations and social network platforms. *Ensure that the NARYSEC youth in all provinces are kept informed of the current and future developments within the programme. *Manage the Call Centre and ensure that enquiries from the youth are recorded and resolved in time. *Ensure that all promotional material, including but not limited to regular newsletters, advertisements, banners and placards, postcards and brochures are developed and made available. *Ensure media relations and publicity. *Compile reports. *Manage performance of staff.
