CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS UNDER FEDERAL ROADS MAINTENANCE AGENCY: (m) Bridge over Omo River, linking Ijebu North to Ijebu East Local Government Areas at Eti-Omi, Abeku East – Oshoko Villages; Project bidding completed before design precedent discovery. FERMA back to drawing board for design works. (n) 3.8km Garage – Market Road, Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area; Currently awarded by FERMA and construction almost completed. 4. CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS UNDER RURAL ELECTRIFICATION AGENCY: (o) 7.5 MVA Injection Power Sub-Station at Atan, Ijebu North East Local Government Area; Currently under construction. My appreciation goes to Kabiyesi Oba Otukoya, Ligun of Ilugun for donating the land and his absolute cooperation and understanding. (p) 7.5 MVA Injection Power Sub-Station at Oke-Sopen in Ijebu-Igbo, Ijebu North Local Government Area; A 2012 project brought forward to 2014, because of misrepresentation of project description. Currently being installed. (q) 500KVA transformer for Oke-Oniburuku, Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area; Already delivered. [Contractor is presently working on the site]. (c) Construction of Rural Road from Cement Estate – Okeariko – Fojege – Okebere – Sugbudun – Ikorodu in Sagamu LGA, Iyankan Junction to Orile – Oko in Remo – North LGA Ogun State. Almost Completed. r. Provision of free Notebooks to Pupils and Students within the Senatorial District. About 200,000 Notebooks Distributed Till Date. s. Sponsorship of Annual Quiz Competition amongst the Universities with Departments of Animal Science in the South West region; the 3rd series of which was held on 14th February, 2014 at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. t. Financial supports were rendered to three newly founded Primary Schools which are as follows: 1. Oshoko / Abeku-East in Ijebu North Local Government; 2. Community Primary School, Igbeba and 3. Community Primary School, Molipa, both in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area. o. The Last, but not the least, the landmark Bursary Award to Final Year Students in all Tertiary Institutions from Ogun East Senatorial District took place on 9th February, 2014.
