INPUT I have a friend, who, will respond to someone who is speaking with too much information!. We can understand the frustration. The information age has a tendency to overcome us with data. Our task is not to get more input but to convert the information into knowledge, and our knowledge into wisdom. The quality of our output depends on the quality of our input. Have you ever wondered how two people, similar in other respects, can respond to Gods revelation in two completely opposite fashions? One hears the gospel message, repents, believes and participates in the life of the Christian community. The other hears the same message and responds with indifference, apathy, or even outright hostility. In the first the Holy Spirit is at work in a friendly environment, in the other, for whatever reason, there is still resistance. What are the major sources of our information? Compare the amount of input you receive from the Lord and from other sources.
