INSPIRATION (Giving direction to your day) MONDAY 17TH JUNE, 2013 UNDER CONSTRUCTION Text: “Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. “James 1:3 (NIV) Am sure you must have seen a road under construction before. It may look rough, dusty and dirty but everybody knows that it’s just a phase that it will not remain like that forever. The laying of a foundation of a house may not also look so beautiful initially but as time goes on the beauty of the house emerges. Everyone is patient enough to see these constructions through the rough stage until the beauty comes out. We must understand too that our lives and destiny is under construction. God is working out the details of our lives until the best of us emerges. Patience, perseverance and faith are what we require to see God’s master plan for our lives come out in full colour and beauty. Anyone that must have seen Joseph in the prison with prisoner cloths would have said it was the end of his life but God was at work, his life was under construction. Please don’t ever give up, your life is under construction. God is working out the details of your life. Persevere in the face of contrary circumstances and tell everyone that cared to listen that hold on my life is under construction. The best in me is coming forth. For those of us who must have seen so much greatness in life know also that God has more in store. CONFESSION: There is more to my life than what is obvious today.
