INSPIRATION (Giving direction to your day) Monday 4th August, 2014 EMBRACING GOD’S PLAN Text: “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord that shall stand” Prov 19:21 Whatever is outside God’s plans for your life will bring some levels of pains and discomfort. The most secured place in life is within the boundary of God’s perfect will for our lives. Outside that boundary we are exposed and vulnerable. The goals of our lives should not just be in settling down for what is widely accepted and good. Our goals should be in walking in the centre of God’s perfect will for our lives. There is a big difference between the two. The difference is as east is from the best. Many lives will not become all they were created to be all because they simply settled for what was generally acceptable and good. God’s plans and purpose for your life may not be popular but that will be the best thing to do with your life. That will be the only thing that has God’s approval on it. God’s plans for your life are already anointed even before you were born. Following God’s plans and purpose for your life may not pay off so much initially but if you stick to it you’ll be glad you did. It’s possible that people that know you don’t believe in what you are doing; what matters is that God believes in what you are doing and you also believe in it too. Experiencing God’s plans for our lives will come in phases and stages. The initial phase may look small and insignificant. There may be possibility of despising it. Please don’t ever do that. If there is anything that anyone is doing that is big today, it started small. What is small today can become a global phenomenon if we’ll stick with it in faith and diligence. I have personally seen people who started businesses that were initially small, but today are big. CONFESSION: I will discover God’s plans for me and stick to it.
