#INSPIRATION Navy SEALs Fund is Honored to share the story behind #Challenge TEAM Geaux CrossFit: “As most of you know, and for those of you who do not, a few months back we lost a member of our gym and a very dear friend. In remembrance of Veteran Navy SEAL, Mark Kennedy we will join hands to participate in the Brotherhood Beyond Battlefield VIRTUAL 5K Challenge. Alongside Julia “Jules” Kennedy, wife of Mark and current GCF member, we will be supporting the Navy SEALs Fund in their efforts to reduce the financial burden of members of the Naval Special Warfare Community who are in need of assistance. They also help facilitate help for current, retired, and former Navy SEAL’s families in need of assistance as a result of injury, loss of life, transition needs, or some of life’s unexpected events. Here is how we plan to get involved: On August 9th, in place of our regular Saturday workout, we will meet at the LSU beach on Stanford at 9am for 5k run or walk! Post 5k, we will head over to Zippy’s for food and drinks. Please invite any and all friends to join! To get involved, join the Geaux CrossFit team.
