INSPIRATION : “WILL A GOOD SOLDIER WAIT UNTIL HE GETS INTO THE BATTLE-GROUND BEFORE HE LEARNS HOW TO USE THE GUN?” standing strong The blows of life are not usually very fair. They hit and hit very hard often times. And when they hit their victims, they go for the jugular, and if the victim continues to absorb them without a fight, the next hit will aim for deadlier spots. But that will not be our portion, in Jesus name! Well, at such times, the victim would wish for the strangest thing to happen, if it is a blow of confusion, he would want God to speak to him with a microphone so that he will be sure he heard him loud and clear this time around, if it is a financial blow, he would wish that money would just appear under his pillow like a jiffy, if it is a physical blow, he would wish that he had the energy of a Samson, so that he could uproot the pillars of that place, if it is a health blow, he would wish that Jesus would appear before him to say, ”rise up and take your bed.” Friend, it is not all the time that God appears with a wavy-arm-twist in the air, sometimes he just reminds you of what you already knew, or what somebody had already mentioned to you, or just a plain-good-old instruction. Because, the instruction you dwell on determines what you will do next. That was why after the death of Moses, when Joshua and the rest of the people continued to mourn, God appeared to Joshua to encourage him. But instead of just giving him joy with a tap on his head, he simply gave him a fresh instruction. And that instruction was for him to be strong and courageous, it was for him never to forget all that Moses had taught him (Joshua 1 :7-8), it was for him to always meditate on the word of God. Friend, every trained fighter understands, that offense is the best form of defense, for prevention is always better than cure. That is why, you do not need to wait until you are oppressed before you practice how to speak the words of faith, you do not need to fall into a financial ditch before you learn about how God prospers, you do not need to receive a life blow before you know how to fight spiritual battles. For any soldier that will learn how to use the gun at the battle-ground will have a lot more to learn.That is why you need to wake up in the night, or first thing in the morning to pray. That is why you need to read the Bible and spiritual materials that inspire you. For then you will be full of joy, and take note that joy is the best atmosphere for spiritual insight, and insight is the reason , you will not fail and you dare not to fail because you are standing strong on his word…hallelujah!
