INSPIRED THOUGHTS By Moses Hightower “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9) * Jesus came into the world to save the world. He was despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief. They hid as it were their faces from him. He was despised and they did not esteem him. He bore your grief and carried your sorrows. He was stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. He was wounded for your transgressions, bruised for your iniquities, the chastisement of your peace was upon him, and with his stripes you are healed. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth. He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter and as a sheep before her shearers was dumb, so he opened not his mouth. He was cut off out of the land of the living for the transgression of the people. Now go and declare his generation. * Cry out to the Lord for mercy. Weep between the porch and the altar for them, for they are your brothers and sisters who have been enticed to abandon the Spirit of truth to follow the spirit of error, which is the spirit of antichrist. They have lost the respect that was once given to them. They attempt to trample under their feet their own children because their children believe in his voice. Who can have respect for this kind of mother? They have forsaken the places where their children once played, and mocked the worship of the children that they birthed and gave suck. They have walked out on Jesus, their husband, and the children that they say they loved. They shall be marooned on islands of darkness and stranded on desolate plains. God shall take the children that they deserted and multiply them away from their presence. The abandoned children shall not die, for the Lord has given them the living word to keep them strong and healthy. Though these children are spoken of as castaways and left forlorn, they shall be raised up without sadness and accepted in the beloved. Though they are treated as derelicts and abandoned by their mother, their fruit shall not be dilapidated. They shall find acceptance in a new place. Go and speak these words in their ears.
