INSTRUCTION IS SUPERIOR....... .....Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life....Prov.4:13 Establishment and settlement are always the result of obedience to the voice of His Word. It is not what God has said but what He is saying.....It is not about the written Word but the proceeding Word or the living Word......God is always speaking and giving new direction and instruction.... You must keep listening. If you must be relevant in Gods move , then you must be current with His voice. One of the danger of mere religion is getting stuck on what God has said and missing what He is saying. Revelation is never stagnant, it is progressive and always present. You have to be daily attentive to His voice. The Shunamite woman of 2king 8 : 1 , escaped the grievous famine in the land because she was privileged to advance knowledge or access to prior prophetic insight....thanks to her been acquainted with the prophet. You must live a life of making daily or consistent inquiries because things may change very fast...that is what gives you an edge over the enemy because you are born of the Spirit. ....The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. ..John 3:8 God told Abraham.....go kill your son.......and then He said ....stop dont kill him again, what changed?...Thank God he was not stuck with what God had said. He told Elijah....go to the brook raven will feed you...and later He said.. ..go to a widow for your sustenance. What changed....!!! He said David...go up...and later in the same chapter against the same enemy, He said ...thou shall not go up.. He told Joseph....take the baby and run......and two years later He said.....now you can return.... The bible says ... go preach in all the world.... but in Acts 16:6-7 the Apostles were forbidden by the Holy Ghost from preaching the Word in certain region of Asia and from entering a particular city. ..... and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not..... Acts 16:6-7 Yes.....what changed? You may be receiving a new instruction because the condition may shift quickly. The details of how and when is exclusively in the hands of the Holy Ghost. You must be led by the Spirit daily. The enemy working through the system of men knows how to affect or quickly change conditions, but God is always ahead and may be giving you a new direction in anticipation of what changes the enemy is making or planning.. Beloved , you cant argue against direction or instruction, only obedience makes for distinction and success. You cannot be so quickly formed or be rigid in the hands of God, you are still a clay until the end. Joseph would have endangered baby Jesus life if he was stagnant in obedience. The instruction was ....take the baby and run.... Well he could have assumed the following. .....this is Jesus......born of prophecy of special divine visitation, .....born of a virgin by the hand of the Holy Ghost...God spoke to me...can anything or anyone hurt the Son of God ?...He is the Son of God , He cant die....and so on. Religious assumption is the greatest enemy of prophetic direction. If you will not honor and regard the voice of instruction or the leading of the Spirit, then you may be losing the advantage to your enemy. May you receive the grace to daily incline yours ears to listen to instructions of the Spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
