INSTRUCTIONS TO PASTORS A farmer once bought a big tractor however he only used the tractor to drive to church. He wanted everyone at the church to know he had a new tractor. However, a tractor is not designed to be driven to church. A person buys a tractor to use in the field to prepare, cultivate and harvest his crops. A tractor should not be an object to demonstrate ones wealth; it should be an instrument of work. A theological education is like that also. It is not designed to demonstrate that the person is a theologian but rather it is designed to prepare PASTORS and teachers to dig into the Bible to produce excellent SERMONS and LESSONS. Therefore, we do not take our theological tools to the pulpit to demonstrate to our people that we are highly educated people. We use these tools in our quiet place of study to dig out practical truth for Gods people.
