INTEGRA COLUMBUS IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR LOOM FIXER this is a Temp to Perm Position Job Summary Operate and repair inspection machinery after cloth has been weaved. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: •High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent experience. •Driver’s License •Minimum of three years of related fixer operating experience •Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and procedures. •Demonstrated understanding of basic math skills •Ability to use a variety of hand tools, machine tools. •Ability to write legible, routine correspondence and to speak effectively as well as coherently with management and other employees •Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form as well as deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations •Knowledge of quill machine, 120” weave loom, and cloth inspection machine Preferred Qualifications: •Five years of related loom operating experience •Thorough understanding of quality management Job Responsibilities: •Properly maintain and repair machinery as needed to achieve production standards. •Maintain production and make sure production goals are met. •Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. •Load and tie in warps •Clean and organize parts via solvent washing •Clean and maintain equipment and tools •Keep work area clean and safe •Other duties as assigned Physical Demands/Work Environment: •Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds occasionally. •Ability to work at heights, walk on high elevation grating and to walk up and down stairs with or without accommodation. •May be exposed to extreme temperatures. •Regularly required to use hands, fingers, to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. •Frequently required to stand; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl •Required for long periods of time, i.e. 8+ hours •Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts •Occasionally exposed to airborne particles •Noise level in the work environment is usually loud Hours are M-F 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Must be able to pass Criminal Background check as well as Drug screen Hourly Pay Rate: DOE Must be able to start work by December 1, 2014.
