INTERCESSION WITH KINGDOM CONNECT TODAY (SUNDAY 16 June 2013) Key scripture for this week: John1:23 Back in 1976 June 16 a youth of that generation knew who they were they realised that they could be a voice for freedom. They were so ready to see this ideal they were not concerned about their own lives. All they could see was freedom, freedom, freedom. When people realise that they could achieve something they go for it whatever the price may be. John knew that he was to cry “make strait the way of the Lord”. The youth in 1976 knew that they could spark an international awareness of what was happening in South Africa they knew they could stand against their government. What do you know today? If you were to choose something to fight what would it be? If there was something to die for what would it be? Our problem is that we do not know what we are...we do not know what mandate do carry. We can make a difference in this generation be it individually or collectively. What John did was an individual effort-the youth of 1976 on the other hand had a collective effort. We need to do what God wants us to do if we are to effect change in our nations. We need God to reveal to us what is it that He wants us to do. I am challenging you today to pick a quest and do whatever it takes you to fulfil it. We must intercede for our nation, pray that they may know their call. Let God reveal to every individual what they must do in order to do His will. You nation has potential only if they had something to thrive for...know your part!
