INTERCESSORS HOURS- KEY SIGNS OF WITCHCRAFT AT WORK IN THE LOCAL CHURCH: Here are some key indicators of WITCHCRAFT at work on the LOCAL CHURCH LEVEL. Be mindful that some of these signs could also be the CONSEQUENCE of POOR LEADERSHIP, LACK OF PREPARATION and NO STRUCTURE. 1. PYTHON- When PYTHON is at work in a church, you will see RESTRICTION in NUMERICAL GROWTH and FINANCIAL SUPPORT. The church will always PLATEAU and may even experience a MASS EXODUS of members at the same time every year or before CRITICAL TRANSITIONS in the life of the ministry. A. DIVINATION- Divination and Python are twins. However DIVINATION will work against the MIND of people to cause them to lack FAITHFULNESS, INTEGRITY and PASSION for the work of ministry. DIVINATION uses MANIPULATION through FEAR, to cause potential LEADERS and SONS and DAUGHTERS to RUN. The demons associated with this are CRITICISM, IMMATURITY and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. If your church cant seem to BREAK THROUGH SPIRITUALLY, NUMERICALLY or FINANCIALLY, PYTHON and DIVINATION may be at work. B. CONFUSION- Another CHIEF DEMON that works in WITCHCRAFT is called CONFUSION. You have a CLEAR VISION. You have ARTICULATED IT. You have TRAINED your MINISTRY in it, but now the Saints act as if they have NO CLUE, what you are called to do and offer NO SUPPORT to it. This is CONFUSION and its MISSION is to EXHAUST LEADERSHIP to cause DOUBT about the ABILITY and CALLING of the Pastor and to minister MISTRUST in the Pastor about the CHURCH. Will also work through the SPOUSE and FAMILY MEMBERS. C. FRUSTRATION- Works with CONFUSION but is more DANGEROUS. Once CONFUSION has created the STORM, FRUSTRATION will begin to BUILD THE BARRIERS against RELATIONSHIPS in the church. This DIVISION then opens the doors to all other demonic activity. Instead of working TOGETHER to fight the DEVIL, the Saints will begin to ATTACK ONE ANOTHER, LEADERSHIP, and ASSIGNMENTS given to them by LEADERSHIP. Huge vacancies will erupt in Leadership, HANDICAPPING the Church from GROWING and EXPANDING its INFLUENCE. The Pastor is left PUTTING OUT FIRES instead of BUILDING MINISTRY. The lack of PROGRESS births FRUSTRATION as this DEMON settles in a work for YEARS.
