INTERESTED IN SPECIALTY RECOGNITION IN SWALLOWING? Will you be attending ASHA convention in Chicago this year? If so, you are invited to join the BRS-S meeting on Thursday November 14th from 6:30 a.m. to 7:20 a.m. before the convention sessions begin. Here you will learn more about the benefits of specialty recognition, opportunities for mentorship, as well as speak with speech-language pathologists who currently hold specialty recognition. Those who currently hold specialty recognition are encouraged to attend the BRS-S meeting to learn about the transition to specialty certification, accomplishments of the Specialty Board in 2013, and planned activities for 2014. If you are an affiliate of SIG 13, you can also come to the SIG 13 breakfast meeting on Thursday at 7:20 a.m. to learn more about BRS-S.
