INTERNATIONAL STAFFING COMPANY recrute pour une société sactivant dans lElectronique & lElectroménager : 1 HOME APPLIANCE (HA) PRODUCT MANAGER PURPOSE OF THE JOB: This critical role is responsible for strategizing the entry and evolution of the Companys brand in West Africa towards attaining a leadership position in each product category. It is also responsible for Developing & Strengthening the Dealer / Distribution / Channel Sales Network so as to improve the reach to the customers To analyse & monitor the product mix & offering, ensuring timely placement of Product at Retail Outlets. To ensure the timely and seamless execution of Sales & Marketing plans to attain Organizational objectives. KEY ROLES & RESPONSABILITIES: To ensure the organization’s business targets/plans are met in accordance with the market demand A/R Management Supervising & Controlling PSI, Run Rate and GSCM operations Plan marketing & sales strategies to ensure the sell-out and stock movement whilst maintaining adequate stock levels with distributors Formulation of Marketing Strategies, New Product Launch Plans, Responsible for Brand Building activities as pertaining to the product category, developing campaigns with the Corporate Marketing team, follow up on execution with field staff. Adherence to the defined Marketing budgets for the above. Organize events & get the execution done thru vertical integration and ensure that the deliverables are achieved within given budgets. Developing, implementing and monitoring the product category strategy Establish short and long term product goals and strategies, and build and manage the product roadmap to support them. ( Range / Line – up / Price Positioning / Marketing Plan & Support from Factory & HQ ) Supervising Channel/Retail Marketing and forming penetration strategy by executing Retail Mapping, Counter Share Extraction and Market Share based on business objectives Corrective Action, based on ROI & Market Intelligence analysis Establishing & optimizing the distribution network across West Africa and managing channel conflict. Leading the team and ensure timely reporting & data accuracy. Ensure communication, fulfilment of R&R programs and schemes and query resolution if any. Imparting Training and Education to the Team (Train the Trainer) REQUIRED COMPETENCIES & ATTRIBUTES: Must possess strong leadership, team interaction and support skills Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must possess the right work attitude Must excel in Retail and Channel Sales & BTL Marketing Thorough working knowledge of distribution networking, channel management and retail sales Thorough working knowledge of Export / Import policies and procedures Thorough working knowledge of banking policies and procedures as pertaining to payment instruments (LC’s / BoE / TT / DA, etc. ) Must drive the out sourced field force to attain management objectives Dynamic product sales & marketing manager with impressive record of attaining aggressive targets in high pressure environment. Prior exposure to sales in channel / distribution network Must be willing and able to travel frequently. Must be Computer Literate with thorough knowledge of MS Office and ERP Additional knowledge of international language is desirable. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in Consumer Durables is mandatory, preferably in West Africa A Post Graduate degree i.e. MBA is an added advantage.
