INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER DAY 5 DECEMBER Ahead of International Volunteer Day tomorrow, I joined the Shire Woodworking Club for its annual toy donation morning. Each year the club and its friends donate hundreds of beautfully crafted toys to charities and not-for-profit groups. This years recipients were Project Youth, Sutherland Shire Family Services and John Franklin Christmas Lunch. We are blessed to have so many selfless volunteers in the Shire.
