INTERNET FORUM OF THE ISLAMIC MOVEMENT. The love of the Prophet(sa) & his AhlulBayt(a) is the foundation of Islam. On the day of Uhud some Companions of the Prophet(s) remained & refused to flee, they sheilded the Prophet(s) with their bodies from arrows & fought to the dead protecting him. Ali(a) survive.. This is a clear manifestation of true love for the Prophet(sa). But sadly today those brave Martyrs of Uhud are not even considered among the best ten among Companions by majority of Muslims. Those who they considered the best are those who fled the battlefield & abandoned the Prophet(sa).. Those who flee the battlefield & abandoned the Prophet(sa) will never be rolemodel to us, our example of total love for the Prophet(sa) are those blessed Martyrs who died fighting protecting the Prophet(sa) from any physical harm. I will mentioned only one here, Anas Ibn Nadir Al-Ansari(r), he saw some prominent Companions fleeing the battlefield. He stopped them & told them that he smell the fragrance of Paradise behind Uhud. He died fighting..
