INTERNSHIP AT YELLOWWOODS ART The programmes work congruently in our “ecosystem”; supported by a broad base of skills development projects geared at emerging artists, and leading up towards a narrower pool of high-end, sophisticated projects which partner with the best established artists from the African continent. The diversity of programmes and skills level, plus the sheer volume of artworks sourced, is made possible by the energy, insight and management skills of a team of specialists in the Yellowwoods Art offices. We are offering a 3 month – 12 month internship for students completing or who have completed a degree or diploma in Fine Arts or a similar field. The internship is available at our Cape Town operation and will give the successful applicants the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that includes: Art Sourcing team, Site Specific Art Selection team and Art Packaging & Shipping team - gaining valuable experience in the bunisess processes of Contemporary African Fine Art as well as Art Production. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Fine Arts Degree or related qualification Great interpersonal and communication skills Meticulous planning and organisational skills Able to find resourceful, creative solutions Flexible Pro-active Works well under pressure Ability to work independently and as part of a team Exposure to the fine art industry is an advantage Computer literate with excellent excel skills Data capturing and administration skills Demonstrate professionalism CLOSING DATE 15 August 2014 TO APPLY: Please send an application motivation, and your CV to: Email: [email protected] Enquires: Tel: 021-4659029
