INTERPOL TO ARREST MUKHITO FOR POSSESSING STOLEN CARS State House Chief of Staff, Paul Mukhito, is falling in the net of International Police (Interpol) for possessing a fleet of cars that were stolen in Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Mukhito, who served as Police Inspector General in the past, has been buying the vehicles from Mangochi. I can confide in you that Mukhito will be picked soon for questioning with a possibility of prosecution in relation to these vehicles. He has been buying them mainly in Mangochi from clandestine car dealers who trek to South Africa, said our source from Malawi Police Service. Among the fleet under Interpol watch are 2 Fortuners, a Toyota Hilux D4D and some 7 salon cars. Mukhito has been purchasing these motor vehicles at a flat price of K6 million. Interpol agents who have been lodging at Sun and Sand have now switched base to Lilongwe after a spate of interrogations and investigations on the dealers they have picked. #akamwile
