INTERPRETATION Interpretation can be a strange old thing Trouble Confusion it may bring Writing down your thoughts and making them rhyme Putting them on Facebook From time to time It can be interesting to gauge the reaction Criticism or satisfaction The writers thoughts Conveyed on paper Meaning something else An hour later From the head through the keyboard Onto the screen Misinterpretation of what you mean It may not seem exactly as you heard That is the beauty Of the written word People might have a different point of view May read the words And misconstrue They may be written purposely to provoke For the humour Or the joke Always open to misinterpretation It can be difficult at times to understand the writers creation To express yourself For all to see It is a little daunting For the likes of me I am only a truck driving man But I enjoy writing words As best as I can So I will carry on making them rhyme At least for a while for some time
