Uig @ 6pm [Gaidhlig] – Minister Refreshments: There will be coffee/tea and ‘eats’ after the morning service in Bernera to which you are warmly invited to stay behind for this morning for a short time of fellowship. Midweek Bible Study The Bernera Bible Study, will take place in Bernera Church Hall @ 7pm on Wed. 6th November 2013; & There will be a short prayer meeting prior to the Congregational Meeting held in Uig Church Hall @ 7:3Opm on Thurs 7th November 2013. Congregational Meeting – Uig There will be a congregational meeting held at 8pm in the Hall, Uig Church of Scotland, on Thursday 7th November 2013 where as promised, the congregation will be updated regarding the recent meeting held between officials from Edinburgh & the Lewis Presbytery. All members & adherents are invited to come along. Spiordalachd nam Bard 2013 – Lecture 2 The 2nd lecture in the SnamB 2013 series will DV, be held at 7:30pm in Bernera Community Hall on Friday 15th November 2013. The speaker, Rev. Prof. Donald MacLeod, FC College will deliver a bilingual lecture on the life and work of the spiritual poet, Padruig Grannd. The lecture is FREE and as ussual a warm invitation is extended to all to attend. DV, Prof MacLeod will be taking the 12:30pm morning service in Uig and the 6pm evening service in Bernera on Sunday 17th November 2013. Again please invite as many as possible to come along to these services. Praise & Raise Nite for Dwellingplaces, Uganda There will be a ‘Praise & Raise’ Nite for the Dwellingplaces Charity at 7:30pm in the Bernera Community Hall on Friday 22nd November 2013. More details of this special night will follow. Carloway Church of Scotland Fun-Day Advance notice is given of an invitation which has been received from Carloway Church of Scotland to the children and young people in both parishes to join with them for their Fun-day which will be held DV, between 10am and 1pm on Saturday 16th November 2013. Details of the day will be given next week.
