INTRODUCING CHIRO JAMBANJELLY Chiro Jambanjelly is formed to work with children and help them to play more active and participatory role in their learning career. We provide games, drawing exercise, drama activities and out-reach programs. The games we provide are meant to help parent to involve their children in playful learning. The Project aim is to compliment Kaira Suu Federation’s effort in creation of a brighter Future for Kombo South Children. We are organized in such a way as to mirror the core element of Child Fund programs. We also stress that a major objectives of our program is for parents and their children to have fun. We realize that all of us learn best when we are allowed to actively take part in the learning process. This is particularly true of children, we encourage children participation in the learning process, not only because it is well documented that this is the most effective form of learning but also because it’s the child’s right. By exercising this right, children develop their sense of curiosity. They learn to think for themselves. Their power of analysis and communication are enhanced. Their self-awareness and confidence grow. They become sort of well- rounded individuals that will be capable of serving their communities in innovative and creative ways. And that after all is one of the ultimate objectives of Chiro Jambanjelly. Finally Chiro Jambanjelly is working hard to try and create a more just world, one in which children are given the tools they need to understand and transform themselves and their communities.
