Reminder: No direct, word-for-word copying should ever be done, as this constitutes unethical writing practice. Quoting is fine, as long as the source is included within the written essay itself. We do not want the real publishers someday to run after our group because of publishing plagiarized essays, and at a very public, social networking site (Facebook) at that. The group counts teachers as members, so that makes this matter all the more urgent. Status posts generally carry direct quotations that are not original, and that is okay, but publishing educational material is a totally different matter altogether.
