IPS ALLOTMENT: STATUS QUO Hyderabad bench of the Central Administrative Tribunal ordered the Centre, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments to maintain a status quo on Abhilasha Bisth’s allotment. She is an IPS officer of 1994 batch, and was earlier counted the senior-most among three women officers. She moved the tribunal challenging her allotment to AP cadre, seeking to direct the Centre to allot her to Telangana. The tribunal, in turn, has directed the Centre, Telangana and AP to file their counter affidavits within 4 weeks.
