IPSWICH SEA ANGLERS sunday November 16th report Orford Island. With reports coming in that the Island was fishing well, all 14 of us were keen to get over and start fishing. Getting there 3 hours before low water we knew the fish would be there from the very start. The weather was bearable but very wet, with just a light breeze. 1st Liam Roper 14 fish for 606 pts 2nd Andy Murray 19 fish for 487 pts 3rd Craig Bradshaw 9 fish for 455 pts 4th Matt Lay-flurrie 13 fish for 358 pts 5th Rick Bennett 15 fish for 330 pts 6th Andy Day 13 fish for 289 pts 7th Steve Barrow 7 fish for 280 pts 8th Peter Bloomfield 12 fish for 230 pts 9th Andy Beales 9 fish for 225 pts 10th Peter Brock 9 fish for 211 pts 11th Eric Filby 9 fish for 188 pts 12th Dave Stannard 4 fish for 62 pts 13th Paul Dawes no card!!! Bradshaw both 1pt BIGGEST FLAT AND ROUND FISH OF THE YEAR SO FAR Andy Murray has both of these with a Bass of 67cm worth 290pts and a Sole of 34cm worth 48pts. Next match is December 21st.
