IRELAND PROTESTS: Thousands of people marched in Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday in a demonstration against the introduction of water charges in the country. The march against the charges, which will cost households hundreds of euros each year, came just days before the government was due to announce its budget for 2015. Several non-government members of the Irish parliament, who support calls for citizens not to comply with the new policy, were in attendance.
