The middle aged man is at the kitchen sink, a half drunk glass of water in his hands. His reflection in the kitchen window stares back at him, but this is now the face of an old man. He looks through the reflection of his own eyes and into a neglected garden. An abundance of Irises come into view. The half-drunk glass of water falls from the old man’s hand. The old man stands in front of a wall full of photographs, letters, and police documents. (His own investigation) The old man takes down photographs off the wall, one from each year.
