“IROG, IROG…UNSAY IROG?” “Irog, irog gamay ug balig - TopicsExpress

“IROG, IROG…UNSAY IROG?” “Irog, irog gamay ug balig dies…naa pay lugar…”, maoy sulti sa jeep konduktor sa mga pasahero. Balig dies pesos diay ang usa ka sampot? Ha3x! Kung habal2x sab, daghan ang makasakay kay tilokon man jud nato ang space. Maskin gani sa bus terminals, automatic mo-irog ang naglingkod sa bench to share a space for other waiting passengers. Sa hotels sab, kun daghan mo-check-in sa room, mo-request tag extra bed. Ok ra ang hotel mgmt. That’s how warm-hearted and accommodating Pinoys are. But it’s quite ironical that many times, makalimot tag welcome ni Lord Jesus sa atong kinabuhi- lalo na sa Pasko. Ma-overwhelmed man gud ta sa planning for parties, reunions, vacations, shopping, decorating, etc., to the point nga kung pangutan-on tag, “Nakabasa na ka sa imong Bible?”, “Nag-quiet time w/ the Lord na ka?”, “Naka-ampo na ka to receive Jesus?”, we have that embarrassed looks on our faces! No room for Jesus today, just like 2000+ years ago when Joseph & Mary were frantically looking for a space in Bethlehem kay manganakay na si Mary. Didto na lang tawon sila mihantong sa pasongan. Gipa-irog, irog seguro nila ang mga animals para makapasilong sila. Kalooy ni Baby Jesus ! Ok ra ba ni Jesus nga gahinan ra nato Syag little space (nga balig dies!) sa atong haus or hikyaran ra natog extra bed? Honest, nowhere can you find in the Scripture where Jesus says, “Anak, irog, irog gamay…Pa-share ug space sa imong heart.” He’s a jealous God, mind you. He wants the whole of us. Read Revelation 3:20- “ Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.” Puwes, as Pinoys nga very accommodating, ngano man tuod nga dili ta magdali2x ug dawat ni Jesus sa atong heart? These times, misamot kadaghan ug ka-wicked ang pipol. Motuo ka? Thus, directly proportional to this, mas midaghan sab ang nanginahanglan sa pasaylo ni God, right? Kung mag-repent ta ug moduol ni Jesus, will He say, “Sorry, wala na koy space for you.”? Oh, dili Sya kuwentador, unlike nato….aaargghh!! Instead, niay truth sa kahibulongang grasya ni God that’s best expressed in a song: “The cross upon which Jesus died is a shelter in which we can hide…There’s room at the cross for you…Though millions have come, THERE’S STILL ROOM FOR ONE…Yes, there’s room at the cross for you.” Friend, feel ba nimo that this is your saddest year ever? Worried ba ka nga basin ug nasumhan na si God nimo ug unforgivable imong mga sala? Please, ayaw kahadlok, ayaw pagpanagana ug duol ni Jesus. Unli space ang Iyang heart for you. Oo, minilyon na ang mga tawo nga miduol kay Jesus & more are coming! Pero, wala ni nagpasabot nga wala nay lugar si Jesus for you. His Kingdom is open wide enough to accommodate you. Simply pray: “Lord Jesus, I humbly confess my sins. Please forgive me. Not just a part or half of my heart, I will give all to You. Amen.” (P.S. Enjoy life’s journey with Jesus! Amen.)
