IRS OTO (Oh, the outrage) is a NUTHIN’ BURGER!!! So we’re all super pissed about the IRS scandal. I myself have had two audits. The first agent ended up to be my good friend and party buddy. (5’11” skinny long-legged tall with prematurely white mane. I called her Bait) The second should keep a careful eye on his back and this was in 1992. We’ve all been there, and the OTO crowd know it. This just in. Elijah Cummings, ranking member (senior democrat) on the investigating committee released the unedited transcripts of the testimony. It turns out that the self described conservative republican manager in Ohio was getting all sorts of requests for tax exemption from various political groups. His JOB is to determine if these are valid requests and so he did two things. He asked for some guidance from his bosses in Washington (OTO – edited description -Washington was directing his actions), and he instructed his subordinates to treat all of these groups equally and fairly. And so an underling did what a good computer nerd would do and picked out the keywords that identified these applications to process them equally and fairly. Sheesh! And I have been this cranky for a good while over a nuthin’ burger? Yup, I have, and probably a lot of you. And they knew we would be. You gotta watch ‘em. Judi
