IRWIN DOESNT UNDERSTAND WHY HE DOES NOT HAVE A HOME YET!! What a beautiful and strikingly handsome boy ! Irwin is an awesome black Lab with a very shiny silky black coat. He is a young boy, about 1 to 2 years old and weighs 55 lbs. He came to us from a high kill shelter after being picked up as a stray. Irwin loves people and is very friendly with everyone. He gets so excited when he sees someone coming and if you have a good boy treat, he will love you forever. He takes treats very well. Irwin would be considered a medium/high energy boy and he loves to play hard. Chasing the ball or whatever toy is thrown is his favorite thing. He doesnt always bring it back, but if you throw another toy, he immediately drops what he has and goes for the new one. So much fun watching him have that much fun. Besides being such a great playmate he would be great at jogging, hiking, running on the beach or taking long walks in the park. He really does do pretty well on the leash too. Irwin is good with his other canine buddies and loves romping with them although he is the Alpha. Because of his energy, he would definitely be to much for the kitties. Irwin is neutered, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, heartworm negative, and micro-chipped. He has been kept on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative. He is also crate trained.
