IS #BAPTISM REQUIRED FOR LORDS SUPPER? Yes definitely….The person should be baptized for taking part in Lord’s Table. 1. JESUS HIMSELF WAS BAPTIZED : ======================= #Jesus himself was baptized as per will of father #God and Jesus submitted himself for father’s will throughout his life till crucifixion. Reference : (Matthew 3:15 ) But Jesus said, It should be done, for we must carry out all that God requires. So John agreed to baptize him.) 2. DISCIPLES WERE BAPTIZED: ==================== John 1:40 clearly states that some of the original twelve had first been disciples of John the Baptist (and would therefore have been baptized by John) and we can surmise that the other Disciples who joined later were baptized by one of those already baptized Disciples, because John 4:1 says: ...Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John (The Baptist) John 4:2 Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples, That means Jesus took the baptism and he is our role model and his disciples were also been baptized. 3. PAUL THE APOSTLE ALSO BAPTIZED: ========================== More over Paul the apostle who wrote the epistle to Corinthians is been baptized. CORINTHIANS GATHERED AS A CHURCH ========================= In 1 Corinthians 11 :17,18 clearly says “In the first place, I hear that when you come together as a CHURCH, there are divisions among you”.
