IS IT BAD TO BE RICH? The scripture says, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into heaven. Mark 10:25. Some believe that to be rich is somehow evil and against the Saviors teachings. To TRUST in wealth rather than God and to allow wealth to corrupt a persons values and standards is the problem. The picture of a camel attempting to get through the eye of a needle demonstrates the impossibility of a person entering heaven whose top priority is wealth. As with the scripture, The LOVE of money is the root of all evil we must understand that when we love money and what it can do for us more than we love God (through our actions) then we are in danger of the judgement.
