Jodha; Shenshah, I want to you know that... you have a very important space in my life... I want you to know; I have lot of respect for you... I know you have a golden heart... and one day you will find it... but promise me that you will not hate me ever for any of my decision and will remember me forever... She looked at him with so much love without a blink with tears in her eyes... Jalal; Jodha with fear and confusion, please tell me why are you talking to me like this? Before he says a word, blood came out of her mouth... Jalal with shock... and screem... Jodha what have you done? And he saw poison bottle in her hand... Jalal; Screamed... koi hai... any one... Abdul came running in the tent. Bring hakim... do something quickly... everyone is running around to help Jalal... Jodha he is Jalal arms... Chapter - 16 They arrive at the Pandit Ragvendras aashram...Jalal is carrying Jodha in his arms, her pulses were dropping precariously... she was breathing hard... Jalal could tell she was struggling in breathing ... he was losing his patience and sense by second... Jalal impatiently yelled at the top his voice Open the door... He waited for a few seconds... He couldnt wait any longer for response so he kicked the door in an alarmed rage since there was no other wisdom left... It was middle of the night; everyone in the Ashram was sleeping in peaceful silent. Jalal shouted loudly again Can someone help me. With his roar... almost everyone in the ashram wake with sudden horror and shock. Main Pandit of the Asharam almost ran towards Jalal with little anger, but as soon he realize the situation and saw Jodha in his hand he understood his panicky attitude. Fortunately, Jodha was one of his shishya (student). He recognized her immediately. Jalal with worried but pleading tone said I have no time to explain panditji, I need your help... Do you have any hakim in your Asharm...? My wife has drunk poison ... she doesnt have much time left. Please help me, I will give anything you want, you can take my life but cure my begum. Pandit looked at Jalal with puzzled look. His tears and vulnerable condition was painful. Pandit patiently requested Jalal Please calm down child, put Jodha on the bed, I will try my best to save her. Jalal was surprise to hear her name but had no interest in any other conversation... Do you know how many hours ago, she took poison and when she lost her conscious? Jalal replied with anxiety, his entire body was shivering out of fear. Jalal could see clearly Jodha was sinking, her breathing was short, she was struggling to gulp... she looked in terrible pain... he never felt this scared before in his life, he felt like everything has vanished ... he never imagine in his dream even that Jodha can take this drastic step. He was feeling so much suffocated and terrified, every minute he was asking Pandit impatiently about her condition... thirty minute passed... Jalal started to sweat in extreme stress... he recall his words... Talak... He recalled her last words... Jalals was losing his patience by every second pass... Pandit, without answer quietly was treating her... Jodhas condition was getting worst and worst by every minute... her breathing suddenly slow down to extreme... her pulse were almost nil... Pandit with frightened and troubled expression said in low tone I dont think I will be able to do anything...I have given her anti poison medication to reverse the effect of poison... I dont see any effect yet... Seems like she has given up to struggle... her inner desire to fight has died... She doesnt have much time left... unfortunately; it is not in my hand to save her... Jalal couldnt believe what he heard and saw... his heart stated to pump so fast... his blood boiled up in worry, his anxiety was at extreme... he felt suffocating breathing himself. All of a sudden, he was losing his balance...his vision started to fad... he was not able to see Jodha clearly, in a next minute he collapses next to her bed... He saw in his dream, he was running panicky in very dark cave, there was no one around, he was screaming madly JODHA his eyes were shedding unstoppable tears...deep down he saw little brightness... with his teary faded vision he saw Jodha was standing close to the light waiting for him to catch up...he ran fastest he could towards bright radiance... he could see she didnt cross toward light she was waiting for him between dark and light... he knew she was going away from him to unseen world... He sought out loudest at Jodha wait... He could feel some she was struggling to wait for him ...some unknown force was pulling her to crossover... She heard his loudest sound... she turned back with teary eyes and stopped for a second and shouted loudly so Jalal could hear her Jalal, I dont want to go. Jalal reached by her he tried to grab her hands but she was out of his reach... they were able to see each other clearly, Jalal in a pleading tone said Jodha, Please dont leave me alone here, Please dont go... Jodha with enormous tears said in painful tone Jalal, I am trying but I cant comeback from here, I have no strength left to come back but I will be right here waiting for you forever... till you come, you have to go back... you have so many responsibility to fulfill but before you go back I want to tell you something... after a brief pause she continued... Jalal, I love you, I love you more than my life and my heart and my soul is only your and I will wait for you till eternity... Jalal with anger shouted Jodha, you cant leave me in middle, you have to come back for me, what we share is love for each other...profound intimacy...what I feel for you is nothing can be deeper than this...I cannot live without you... If this is love than yes I love you... I love you more anything in world...Your powerful love has transform me, I will leave everything to be with you... nothing matters compare to your love... I have a heart and that belongs to you only... Jodha please come back..e back for your Jalal... Or I will crossover with you... Please give me your hand, I will pull you back and if I cant than you have to take me with you. His words suddenly gave immense energy in Jodha, she forward her hands towards him with and Jalal swiftly grab her hand to pull her... Jalal felt water on his face and heard Abdul yell; Shenshah Jalal came back to sense and saw Abdul worried face... He realizes he lost his conscious and he recalled what happened in his dream... immediately Jalal with anxious expression and with his all strength got up to see Jodha. Pandit with cheerful and surprising tone said Shenshah, this is a miracle...Jodha came back from other world... Suddenly medicine has started to work on her... She stopped breathing and her pulse was nil for about more than two minutes and all of a sudden she started to breathe again. With Gods blessing she has survived and she should be awake in few minutes. Jalal stress relived and with content feeling... with his hand folded he said You have saved my life Panditji... Please, tell me what do you want? You will get anything you ask for it. Pandit with smile said Shenshah, thank you for this honor, but I really dont want anything. I have very limited needs and its already fulfilled and I cant take anything from you since Jodha was my student. Its my duty to save her life. then Pandit put his hand on Jalals shoulder with smile and walks out of the room with Abdul to arrange for medicine and their stay for the night. Jalal is sitting next to Jodha, waiting for her to come back to sense. Jalal still was shocked with Jodhas suicidal attempt. He was still confused with his own extreme worry for Jodha... he was feeling really upset at Jodha for this drastic crazy decision. How could she think about leaving me like this? Finally Jodha opened her eyes and saw Jalal holding her hand with his dreadful face. She realized that she has survived and didnt know how to react to this situation. Jalal and Jodha were looking at each other... Finally Jalal broke silence with sarcasm Welcome back to life Jodha begum... Jodha pulled her hand away from Jalal and sit on the bed with little frustration she said Why did you save my life? With this question Jalals controlled temper went out of the roof, his major weakness his anger... he lost his mind and he slapped her hard, and with loud angry voice he said Jodha, you really wants to know, why I have save your life. What do you think of yourself? How could you take this drastic decision... you have not thought once about me, you have hurt me a lot today... I have never felt this much pain in my life. In our relation you have always decided everything from beginning... I have made many mistakes but I have always apologies. Let me tell you something... I wish you would have understand my unspoken words... You are very special in my life and yes you capable to make me cry, smile and hate... every small action of yours, have impact on my life. Before he leaves, Jodha with tears got up from the bed and regretfully said Shenshah, please wait. She was feeling very weak and hardly able to stand. Jalal notice her trembling, he swiftly walked back towards her and saved her from falling. He holds her from her waist... Jodha looked in his eyes with love without a blink, after few seconds she said in dim tone SORRY with heavy heart and tears in her eyes, she understood his pain and her mistake, and she knew she was completely wrong to take this drastic step. Suddenly she realized what he has gone through... How vulnerable he sounded in his anger... she could feel how angry and sad he is... with all her strength she got and with surprised hugged him tight to comfort his wounds... both were in tears but hiding from each other... Jalal gulped his tears and Jodha wiped it then looked back at him. She said in low tone Shenshah, hame maaf kar digiye... pata nahi hame kya ho gaya tha... hum aapko kisi aur ke saath nahi dekh sakte. AApko Kanika ke itne paas dekh ke hum aapse bahot naraz the, aur aapki hame talak dene wali baat ne hame bahot taklif di... aap hame kese chodne ki baat kar sakte hai... Hume laga aap hume bilkul pasand nahi karte, aur ye ham bardast nahi kar sake, iss liye hamne ye kathor nirnay liya. Jalal with little resentment Jodha, you know my anger very well... you argue for every little things and this time you didnt even said a word about your feelings...Why didnt you talk to me? Humne to sirf talak ki baat ki thi... Par aap to hame hamesa ke liye chod ke ja rahi thi... ek bar bhi nahi socha hamre bare me. Jodha moved little away from him and said Hum aapko dukh pochana nahi chahte the... hume nahi pata tha ki humara jivan aapke liya itna mahatva purn hai. Shenshah, you have taken a very special space in my heart also... your smile brings happiness in my life...your anger gives me tremendous pain... Your every act has a big impact on my life...when you look at someone else with love my heart tatters in to pieces... I think I am in... Jodha realized and stopped suddenly and moved away from him. Jalal with smirk asked her mischievously Jodha, you think...you are in... WHAT? She turned back shyly and said with low voice, Shenshah, I think I am in... she paused for few seconds and continued again I think I am in pain and I need to sleep... She playfully giggled and moved back to the bed... Jalal gazed at her beautiful innocent smile...his anger completely vanished, then he sit on the bed near Jodha, with love softly kissed on her forehead with affection. After a few seconds he said in very firm and serious tone Jodha please promise me no matter what happens in future you will never take this extreme step in your life life. Jodha replied with serious tone Shenshah, I promise you, I will never do something like this unless it is a matter or my self-protection. Jalal smirk and said Jodha, I will protect you my entire life, you will never have to worry about that. Jalal caringly said Jodha, you need to relax and take rest... tomorrow, you are going to ride with me on my horse... I will not leave you alone for a minute. They both sleep rest of the night and in the morning they took blessing from Panditji and left Asharam. Jodha and Jalal were riding on same horse... they both were feeling fresh and cheerful. She felt little awkward and shy sitting so close to him, his one hand was encircled to her waist, Jalal pulled her little more closer to him and whisper in her ears Jodha begum, to kya keh rahi thi Aap kal, Aap hume kisi aur ke saath nahi dekh sakti... Aesa kyu hota hai Apko. She thinking irritably, he is too smart and knows everything and still asking me, he has not admit his love yet and playing with me... hmmm Jodha looked at back at him with annoyance Shenshah, hame pata nahi. As soon as she heard Kanika, she lost her temper and witts, she looked back frustatedly and said Vo hame Kanika pehle se pasand nahi hai iss liye, Aur aap to juth mat boliye, hamne dekha tha kaise us ke sath aap has has ke bate kar rahe the... uske sath holi khelni thi na appko... Uska rajvanshi vastra aur ghehne bhi bahut pasand aii thi na... Aaj tak aapne humare vastra ki tarif nahi ki... Aur us kanika se malam bhi lagva ya tha... Apko koi sharm barma hai ki nahi... apna kutra bhi utar ke beth gaye the uske samne... Apko vo itni hi pasand aa gayi thi to usse bhi shadi kar leni thi na... begum ki ginti me ek aur badh jaati... aapki Kanika. Jalal couldnt hold his laugh... he laughed out loud and said To hamari begum ko Kanika se itni Jalan ho rahi hai. Jodha squinted her eyes and said Aap phir se suru ho gaye... hame aapse baat nahi karni... Aur hum kisise kyu jale. Ohh!!! So Rukaiya begum aur hamari najdikiya se aapko koi taklif nahi hai. Jalal said teasingly Jodha looked back at Jalal with anger and said Hume yaha se abhi niche utariye, hum palki me beth ke aayenge. Jalal smirk at Jodha and kissed on her cheeks quickly and said when you are angry your cheeks turn red and you look so cute... Jodha felt shy but with little anger she said shenshah, hum yaha akele nahi hai... Jalal pulled her more towards him and said sensually To iska matlab, jab hum akele ho tab koi etraj nahi hai. Jodha with shyly replied Hum ne aesa to nahi kaha... Aur ha hame koi takleef nahi hoti, Aap kisi bhi begum ke paas jaa sakte hai. Aur hum aapko yaad dila de aap ne hamse vada kiya hai, aap hamare karib nahi aayenge. Jalals ego hurt with her mock, he said in serious tone Jodha begum, I know my limits and I have no interest in coming close to you. After a few minutes silence... Jodha with teasing tone; Shenshah, did you like my friend Surya? Jalal furiously replied No!!! I dont want to pretend... Yes, it indeed bothered me yours and Suryas closeness. How dare, he touched you and put flower in your hair...Whenever Surya looked at you, in his eyes, I could read much more than friendship. Yes!!! I am jealous of your and Suryas friendship and dont ask me WHY. Jodha to take Kanikas revenge asked him Why dont you like Surya...? Why it bothered? Shenshah, you always say that you dont have heart... you dont love me... then why this jealousy... In what way I am special in your life... you said yesterday that I am capable of making you cry; smile... why I am so important? Are you in love with me? Jalal stopped his horse suddenly with annoyance and said I dont know answer to your questions... I have no interest talking to you... You can go and sit in palkhi. Jodha teasingly replied You sure what if I ran away from you... I thought you didnt want to leave me alone for a minute. Jalal with annoyed tone said Jodha, enough... if you want to ride with me than keep quite... After about an hour Jalal said I cant wait to go back to Agra, its been more than fifteen days. Jodha innocently replied But Shenshah I wish our journey never ends. This innocent response touched Jalals heart extremely... he pulled her very close him and with love and he said That is why Jodha Begum, YOU STAY IN MY HEART. This was the first time... he acknowledges that he has heart... Jodha looked back at him without a blink with astonishment... She wanted to hear this for so long...and Jalal knew what he was saying... instead of feeling of losing he was feeling intensly content... he felt that he has won entire world... for the first time he lost something but he felt immense pleasure in losing his heart to Jodha. In Jodhas eyes tears started to swim out of happiness, in dim tone she said Shenshah, you just said that I stay in your heart. Jalal contently smiled at her and said in sincere tone Yes Jodha!!! No one else can stay in my heart other than you, you have won my heart. they both were looking at each other with gratification of intense love. Jalal hugged her from back and in silence they both were enjoying each others closeness. It was late evening; they were passing through beautiful mountains. Jalal saw beautiful river next to big open ground. He stopped it and said this is the perfect place to stay for tonight. Everyone stopped and Jalal informed Abdul that we are going stay here tonight. Jalal soberly asked Jodha; if she wants to come for walk near the shore of the river...Jodha with smile started to walk with him... It was a peaceful, quite cold winter evening... Sky was turning orange with glowing shadow... The light was fading... The birds ended their journey and were back to the warmth of their nest. They were walking toward the river...There was deep silence between them...both of them feeling little shy of each other... They finally reached near shore, it was beautiful relaxing and romantic sandy shore and perfect timing for sunset, and sky completely turned deep orange for colorful shades. Feel the whisper of the cool evening air blowing the breeze. Jalal and Jodha both sit by the sandy shore looking at the beauty of the nature... waiting for sun to hide and moon to come... Jalal close his eyes to listen to the melodious sound of river waves...both of them were deeply in love with each other... their heart were beating fast... then slowly he hold Jodhas hand and pulled her towards him... She was desperately waiting for this moment... Jodha put her head on his chest with love...he put his hand around her waist... there was no need to talk...being with each other was so much contently sensation... feeling of their love in the air... Jalal was staring at Jodha without a blink... she felt uncomfortable with his constant passionate gaze... She shyly said Shenshah, Dont look at me like this. Jalal smirk at her and said Can I request you for something... Jodha She responded calmly Ji Shenshah... Can you please sing something in your melodious and magical voice...? Jodha in agreement smiled a little What do you want me to sing? He said...Jodha, I want to hear what you feel about us... She shyly grins... and with her eyes expression accepted and started a beautiful song... Jalal Lie down on sand and looking at her with intense love and passionate eye... As soon as song finished, Jodha felt so bashful and self conscious, she got up from their swiftly... before she move away from him further Jalal got up and hugged her from back and asked her in a whispering tone Are you really feeling what you just sing. She turns back towards him, her eyes were lowered, her cheeks turned pink, she hides her face in Jalals chest... Jalal encircled his hands and they softly hug eachother... After few second, Jalal cupped her face and asked her Jodha, kya aap sach me aesa mehsoos karti hai... kya aap hamse mohabaat karti hai... (Do you really feel what you just sang, do you really loves me...) Jodha with blush and shy hide her face with her hands and turned other side... Jalal pulled her hand and grab her from her waist... lift her face up and asked her again... Jodha, Do you love me... She looked at him and replied shyly Ji Shenshah, hum aap se mohabbat ho gayi hai. Yes, I am madly in love with you Shenshah. Jodha asked him same question... Shenshah, kya aap bhi wohi mehsoon karte hai...jo hum karte hai... (Do you also feel the same, Do you love me?) Jalal looking in her eyes with deep intense love HA Jodha...hum bhi aapse beitnha mohbbat karte hai... hum aapke bina ek pal bhi reh nahi sakte... Aap jab hume chod ke ja rahi thi tab hame ye ehsaas hua...appke bagar hum adhure hai...aapka saath hi hame purn karta hai. Jodha with shy couldnt lift her face up... Jalal with soft tone asked her Jodha begum, kya aapko hum chu skate hai... hum aapko puri tarah se apana banana chahte hai... Kya isme appki manjoori hai... Jodha with blush... ran out of the Jalal grip...He ran behind and grab her again from her waist than cupped her face with both hand... asked her again Kya aap hamare karib aana chahti hai. She looked at him with blushed face and blink her eyes with her consent expression. Jalal hugged her tightly and squeezed her in his arms said in a whisper humne akhir aapka dil jit hi liya then he kissed softly on her malleable rosy lips sensually... Jodha break kiss and tried to move away from him... Jalal pulled her again with strong grip from her waist and said in seductive voice Jodha begum, aapne hame bahot tadpaya hai... Aaj hum aapko humse ek pal ke liye bhi door nahi jane denge. Jodha said in dim tone Shenshah, hame jane digiye, koi yaha aa jaayega... Aur hame andhere se dar lagta hai. Jalal smirk at her and said Hum aapke shohar hai... hum jab aapke sath hai to fikr karne ki koi vajah hi nahi hai...phir bhi aap chahti hai to hum kheme pe chalte hai. Jodha in requesting tone said Shenshah, hum aapse ek binati karna chahte hai... kya aap ek aur din ka intzaar kar sakte hai... hum chahte hai... ham apni pehli raat Agara me aapke kaksh me vyatit kare... Vo hamari jivan ka yaadgar khubsurat pal hona chahiye. Jalal cupped her face with love and said Jodha begum, hamne aapke naam par hamari jindgi kar di hai... Aap ke liye hum puri jindgi intzaar kar sakte hai... Jalal draw her closer and kiss on her cheeks softly then move towards her lips passionately... Before their kiss go any further...
