IS JONATHAN A PRESIDENT OF ONLY CHRISTIAN LEADERS? Being a Muslim shouldnt stop me from interfering or voicing out my discomfort in Nigerias affairs and more importantly, things involving my country where both Muslims & Christians were said to be equal as far as Nigerian citizenship is all about. Let me be sentimental a bit this time around, can you recall when GEJ visited and even passed a nights in a UK hospital where HRH late Ado Bayero was hospitalized after a failed terror attack on him but Jonathan ignored going upstairs to check on the health condition of the then Emir of Kano? Did GEJ visited the victims of FCE Kano bombing? Did GEJ visited Sheik Dahiru Bauchi & Gen Buhari after the failed assassination attempt on them? I didnt heard or saw when President Jonathan visited Borno state to condole with the people and emirate of Gwoza over the sudden death of the late Emir of Gwoza who was killed by a terrorist ambush. The Emirs of Bauchi, Borno, Das (in Bauchi), Askira (Borno), Uba (Borno) and Bama were all attacked separately at one point or the other, did GEJ visits any of them? Sheikh Albani of Zaria was attacked and killed by unknown gunmen, did President Jonathan paid a condolence visit to Albanis family? When Gen Shuwa was killed in presence of his 8 military guards, did Jonathan paid his people a condolence visit? When the all respected elder statesman Alh Ali Munguno was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Borno, did GEJ visited him after his release? Sheik Ahmed Gummi was also targeted while preaching at his Kaduna mosque, did GEJ paid him a sympathy visit? But now, just few days after the collapse of T.B. Joshuas Synagogue Church Of All Nations, President Jonathan has found time out of his busy schedules and flew in to Lagos state just to soothe with T.B. Joshua over the collapse of his church. I am not against Jonathans going to sympathize with T.B. Joshua as whoever lost such a property deserves pitying, but that same gesture must be extended to others across Nigeria irrespective of tribe & faith, if truly GEJ isnt an ethnic or Religious bigot. These and more, further dyed-in-the-wool the amount of malevolence President Jonathan has in plethora for non-Southerners and non-Christians Nigerians, and will only add to the already existing disunity among us, and unless urgent steps are taken to stop GEJ from segregating this nation with his sentimental stewardship, Nigeria may be a thing of history.
