IS SIN STILL YOUR MASTER? by Deirdre November 14, 2014 Speak to any false teacher and they will tell you that Christians are no long under the law, they are under grace. But instead of relying on what someone else says, why not test the veracity of this assertion for yourself. I call it the test of determining whether or not sin is still your master, because Paul said and the institutionalized church teaches: For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:14 WE CAN TEST WHETHER ROMANS 6:14 IS A TRUE TEACHING BY ANSWERING THE FOLLOWING QUESTION - DO YOU SIN? IF YOU STILL SIN AFTER BEING SAVED, THEN SIN IS STILL YOUR MASTER BECAUSE JESUS SAID EVERYONE WHO SINS IS A SLAVE TO SIN: Jesus replied, Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. - John 8:34 So if you sin then you are a slave to sin, and sin is still your master and you ARE under law because if you were under grace according to Romans 6:14 sin would NOT be your master. So why does Paul and the Institutionalized Church persist in the false teaching that we are under grace? Because they want to be disobedient to God and keep sinning in spite of the truth, so God has sent them a strong delusion so that they can believe what is false. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, - 2 Thessalonians 2:11 WHY DOES GOD SEND A STRONG DELUSION? that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. - 2 Thessalonians 2:12 So if you want to be condemned with those who are already condemned then keep on believing their lie -- that you do not have to follow Gods law. The truth is, you must follow Gods law because we are still under the law, because Jesus said that He did not come to abolish the law, and that the law would not end until heaven and earth pass away. Jesus says: “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. - Matthew 5:17-18 SO HERE IS A SECOND TEST THAT YOU CAN CONDUCT . SIMPLY LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOW AND SEE IF THE EARTH IS STILL THERE. IF THE EARTH IS STILL THERE, THEN THE EARTH HAS NOT PASSED AWAY, AND NEITHER HAS THE LAW! In fact Jesus goes on to say that whoever breaks a commandment (Gods law) and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. So you are gong to face some consequences for even teaching people that they are no longer under the law. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 5:19-20 People who are without law is what Jesus refers to as the lawless! I call them the Lord, Lord Christians. Because the Lord says: Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ - Matthew 7:22-23
