IS SUICIDE A COWARDLY ACT? People are so conditioned to assume - TopicsExpress

IS SUICIDE A COWARDLY ACT? People are so conditioned to assume and respond to an act of suicide as cowardly...people who would automatically respond this way are doing so in a foolish attempt to console those left, and have no understanding of depression whatsoever... While killing yourself may be a short-sighted act, the ultimate permanent solution to a temporary situation, to characterize it as cowardly is highly inaccurate, and is often the final insult hurled at the person who has chosen it. To accuse someone of committing this final cowardly act is intellectually lazy, and is the ultimate aggressive insult towards this person, and the loved ones they leave behind. Depression is anger turned inward. People who are sensitive, and empathetic, and largely creative types, are often forced to withstand the slings and arrows of the masses, the hurts and insults, slights and misdeeds of those who consistently put themselves first, and to hell with everyone else. The type of people who may not be right, but ARE NEVER WRONG. Youve met them. Sociopaths, and their eager cowardly henchmen and women, those who are apathetic, the Apaths. I read this article some time ago, and re-read it often so as to be aware, and as a creative, sensitive, empathetic person, can safe-guard and protect myself accordingly. Give it a read and share your thoughts? Before you label anyone a Coward, UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! addictiontoday.org/addictiontoday/2013/10/empathy-trap-sociopath-triangle.html
